Isabella State School acknowledges the Gimuy Wallaburra Yidinji people, traditional Custodians of the country on which the school is located and pays respect to their Elders, past and present.

Our school is located on Walker Road in Edmonton, just south of Cairns. The school opened on 29 January 2007 and has continued to grow. We now have approximately 600 eager learners from Prep to Year 6.

At Isabella State School we have adopted the values and principles of 'School Wide Positive Behaviour' for learning. Our three school rules are learning, respect and safety and everything we do strives to uphold these values. We consider values such as good manners, caring behaviour and pride in our school and ourselves as integral to the culture of our school.
