As a new school, Isabella State School is continually looking at ways to create a strong and active school community. The hardworking P&C have initiated a number of fundraising and social initiatives since the school’s opening and have been responsible for many improvements, including the recent successful obtaining of a Gaming grant to provide a fixed shade cover over the senior adventure playground.
In 2014 Isabella State School successfully staged its inaugural Community Expo where local organisations and community groups set up information booths in our Performing arts and Human movement centre and provided information/details about the various services they provide. As a school, we see tremendous benefit to our school community in providing access to these local services and organisations as well as providing an opportunity for these organisations to 'get their message out' to the wider community.
We have strong working relationships with a number of community agencies and businesses who support the school and our students.
