Welcome to Year 4 at Isabella State School. We are looking forward to an exciting and rewarding year.
We would like to reiterate the importance of student attendance and the crucial role this plays in your child’s success at school. Every Day is important for each and every student and we stress the need for each child to attend school as frequently as possible to assist with their learning success. Attendance of all students is monitored daily, if your child is going to be absent please inform the office.
Homework is consistent across the cohort and commences in Week 2. If you or your child have any difficulties with homework please contact your classroom teacher.
Students will be going on an excursion to Daradgee Educational Centre during Term 2. All students have been reminded that to attend an excursion students need to be on a C-B-A behaviour.
Students will undertake assessments of all units apart from HASS in weeks 6-7. The HASS assessment will be an ongoing assessment that students will complete throughout Term 2. It is very important that students are at school especially in these assessment periods.
Following is a brief run down of what the students will be learning:

- Science - students will be studying living and non-living things and will focus on life cycles and key stages in the life cycles of plants and animals.
